After nearly a decade as a movement artist, dance educator and administrator, Jaclyn is currently pursuing a new career as a legal assistant. There will always be room for artistic endeavours in her life, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you are interested in collaborating or seeking private dance coaching.
For nine years, Jaclyn graced the stage with Spectrum Dance Theater, traveling across the United States and abroad performing featured roles in some of Donald Byrd's master works including Drastic Cuts, Occurrence #10, The Harlem Nutcracker, and many more. In addition to serving as Dance Captain during her last seasons with the company, Jaclyn was a dedicated teaching artist for The School of Spectrum Dance Theater, where she mentored hundreds of young artist throughout their dance journeys.
While the pandemic caused her to take a break from flying through the air, Jaclyn is also passionate about aerial dance and looks forward to climbing to great heights in the studio and onstage someday soon.
While she is Canadian born, Jaclyn has called Western Washington home for the last decade. Settled in Carnation with her husband Alex and their pup Talli, Jaclyn is thankful for the comforts of home and the proximity to her home country, as well as her family and friends.
